臉書牽線 美婦找到願捐腎臟女

臉書除了是和朋友交流的地方外，還可能促成器官捐贈媒合美事。佛羅里達州新里奇港（New Port Richey）1名婦女就從臉書找到願意捐腎給自己的人。

當地媒體WFLA報導，50歲的柯蒂（Christine Curti）出生就僅有1顆腎臟，因此需要接受腎臟移植手術。而住在美國另一端聖地牙哥（San Diego）、24歲的莫潘（Valerie Maupin）希望捐腎給友人的母親，但後來發現配對不合。

柯蒂說：「6名捐贈者接受檢測，但都未配對成功。」

企盼捐腎的莫潘在臉書上搜尋，聯繫上致力協助為需要者尋找捐腎人的團體。

莫潘說：「我健康、年輕又有在運動，如果捐腎能拯救某人的生命，我該這麼做。」

這個團體協助2人聯繫上彼此，她們在佛州蓋恩斯維爾（Gainesville）見面，進行器官配對，結果令人振奮。醫生表示，器捐配對成功。
