集合四大影帝級型男謝霆鋒、余文樂、任達華及胡軍合作的動作大片《救火英雄》，1月3日在香港上映後，大獲好評，呈現「零負評」的極佳口碑，更被評為獨特的「黑暗熱血英雄片」。

其實《救火英雄》在大陸及香港的知名電影網站，影評都大獲好評，不少影評指電影雖是拍過多次的救火災難題材，但仍推陳出新，不僅是獨特的「黑暗熱血英雄片」，也有觀眾表示「電影有一種蕩氣回腸的詩意，讓人意猶未盡」。

電影為打造危機四伏的救火場面，運用了大量特效營造出煙與火交織的驚險鏡頭，而這些都靠謝霆鋒在2003年成立的Po朝霆特效後製公司完成，這個特效團隊為了呈現火場的緊張感，一共用了超出2000個特效鏡頭，效果果然驚心動魄。

謝霆鋒近年積極向幕後發展，他憑著多年的拍片經驗，發現華語電影特效市場，具有極大的市場潛力，在2003年成立了Po朝霆特效後製公司，當時員工僅10人，但10年來因製作品質出色，快速成長為百人以上的大公司。
