【王翊亘／綜合報導】統一獅1棒林志祥，在11局上1出局滿壘時，擊出關鍵右外野安打，帶有1分打點，使統一攻下超前的第3分。終場統一以9比2擊敗義大犀牛，直落4奪下球隊隊史第9座總冠軍。
 
犀牛中繼投手尼克，僅休2天，8局上場投球，卻中繼3.1局，最終氣力放盡。11局上，高國慶率先安打，高志綱再獲保送，楊松弦擊出的二壘滾地球，原本有可能形成雙殺，二壘手陳凱倫卻發生失誤，形成滿壘。
 
統一在11局上一共打了11個人次，敲出6支安打，攻下7分。尼克3.1局失掉7分，其中6分為自責分。第4戰的單場最有價值球員與台灣大賽的最有價值球員頒給本場比賽5打數3安打的高國慶。
