【短片】「蜘蛛皇后」放生二千幼年狼蛛

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】美國德州北部的狼蛛數目，近年不斷下降，美國「蜘蛛王后」巴頓(Leah Patton)為了保育，昨天(29日)晚間在德州北部的路易斯維爾湖環境學習區(Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area)，野放2千隻幼年狼蛛。

住在德州的巴頓30年前開始迷上蜘蛛，她發現向來多蜘蛛出沒的北德州，蜘蛛數量開始銳減，決定將她飼養的2千隻幼年狼蛛，野放回大自然。一般來說，像這樣野放的幼年狼蛛，每百隻的存活率可能只有1隻，她計畫要持續10年，盼能復育成功。
