去年10月才上任的國民黨發言人楊偉中，今（20）日向黨中央請辭，楊偉中表示，純粹是因為個人生涯規劃，與妻子陳以真參選嘉義市長無關，也不會投入輔選，將先休息一陣子。

楊偉中在去年10月14日接下國民黨發言人一職，表現稱職，但妻子前青輔會主委陳以真宣布投入嘉義市長選戰後，楊偉中多次遭質疑恐有立場不公的問題。

楊偉中今天中午親口證實已經向黨秘書長曾永權請辭，黨主席馬英九也已經得知此事。

楊偉中說，請辭發言人純粹是個人生涯規劃，與妻子參選無關，也不會投入輔選，只想先休息一陣子，多陪陪女兒，暫無其他計畫；待內部作業完成後即可辦理交接，但時間未定。
