【綜合報導】美國海軍工廠16日發生槍擊慘案，又喚起了美國人民對槍枝管制議題的關切。美國連鎖咖啡店星巴克總裁舒茲（Howard Schultz）18日發表公開言論，表示無論美國各州對於槍枝管理的法律規定為何，美國星巴克各分店禁止攜帶槍枝者進入店內。
 
舒茲解釋很少有一個議題能像槍枝管制一樣在美國引起如此兩極以及令人情緒激動的爭論。為了星巴克及其夥伴、顧客的利益，星巴克決定謝絕消費者攜帶槍枝入店，不過，舒茲也強調這只是一種請求，而非禁令，因為星巴克深知無論怎樣選擇，都無法同時讓擁槍者和反對持槍者滿意。
