網路直播自殺　20歲男生死未卜

【周佩萱／綜合外電報導】英文版論壇4chan，周六一名老鳥使用者在版上宣稱，將透過視訊直播自殺實況，這名老鳥匿名史蒂芬，現年20歲，史蒂芬表示身為老鳥，2004年就加入4chan，我想我終於可以回饋大家，我願意透過視訊為大家展示我的「英雄」事蹟。在4chan上所謂的「英雄」事蹟，就是指自殺，另一名使用者則回應表示願意為他開一個視訊聊天室，最多只能有200人加入。

當天在200名網友眼前，史蒂芬配著伏特加，吞下不知名藥物，還在房間一角生火，之後便蜷曲在床上，從網路直播上可以看到房間開始濃煙密布，火勢似乎延燒到史蒂芬身上，史帝芬還自己打出「我死定了，我的天啊，我著火了」的訊息，這段影片目前在LiveLeak影音分享網站上還看得到。

所幸沒多久消防員衝入他的房間，將他救出火場，據傳史蒂芬是加拿大貴湖大學(University of Guelph)的學生，根據當地媒體報導描述，一名學生在宿舍失火中受傷，傷勢嚴重但無生命危險。

不過也有其他報導表示史蒂芬被消防員救出後，就宣告死亡，消息眾說紛紜，目前還無法確認史蒂芬是否身亡，不過可以確定的是這種行為一點也不「英雄」。
