零售商J.C. Penney (JCP-US)周三公布，第三季虧損擴大至4.89億美元，或每股1.94美元，去年同期為虧損1.23億美元，或每股56美分。

銷售下降5.1%至27.8億美元，去年同期為29.3億。

接受FactSet研究機構調查的分析師平均預估，該公司每股虧損1.74美元，銷售為28億美元。

第三季同店銷售下降4.8%，分析師預估為下降4.7%。

但該公司說，預期年底流動性將逾20億美元，且銷售與獲利率均將較去年同期改善。

盤前交易中，Penney股價上漲4.6%。
