基隆市警察局為抓賭場，組成靖紀小組，市警局將偵防車撥給靖紀小組使用，但害怕車上原本印著的鴿子警徽露餡，竟想出用黑色膠帶將警徽貼起來，被民眾笑稱：「有夠醜！就像貼藥膏。」

靖紀小組為了查案，擔心被人識破，竟畫蛇添足用黑色膠帶將鴿子警徽貼起來，將白色廂型車貼得一塊一塊，引起民眾圍觀，不但沒有讓賭客放下戒心，反而更容易印象深刻。
