2016年半導體出貨估1兆套

研調機構ICInsights預期，2016年半導體總出貨量可望達1兆套，將創下歷史新高紀錄。

IC Insights指出，1978年全球半導體總出貨量約326億套，至1987年出貨量首度突破1000億套，2006年出貨量超越5000億套，2007年出貨量進一步突破6000億套規模。

IC Insights表示，1984年半導體出貨量年增34%，成長幅度最大；網路泡沫化後，2001年半導體出貨量年減19%，下滑幅度最大。

受全球金融危機及經濟衰退衝擊，2008年及2009年半導體出貨下滑，是半導體產業唯一一次出現出貨連續下滑的情況。

IC Insights指出，因全球經濟低迷，2008年至2013年半導體出貨平均年成長僅5%，不過，隨著經濟恢復成長，預期2013年至2018年半導體出貨平均年成長率可望達8%；2016年總出貨量可望首度突破1兆套。
