針對民調顯示，台中市長胡志強宣布參選連任後，各項民調數據卻落後民進黨台中市長參選被提名人林佳龍，胡志強今（8）日不願多表示意見，只強調最準的民調就是投票日，「我會贏給你看」。

胡志強今日參加台中市文化局藝文界新春團拜暨茶會，並向藝文人士賀新春、敬茶。

對於多項民調滿意度落後，胡志強則說，最準的民調就是投票那天，民調數據「參考就好」。

胡志強說，台中市「文化城」這個稱號是助力也是壓力，他會加強各項藝文軟硬體建設，對於選戰，胡志強則說，「我會贏給你看」。
