中信兄弟開出最多5年3300萬的複數年合約留下「周董」周思齊，也讓他鬆了一口氣，感謝球團給他的評價。

當初周思齊願意為了「試水溫」，也為了中職自由球員制度完善，行使自由球員權利，也是下了很大的決心。

「其實要離開兄弟的機會很大。」

周思齊當時處於球隊將轉賣之際，種種不確定因素，加上「對方」開出非常優渥的條件，讓他十分「薪」動，況且對方也願意等待，讓周思齊一度要改披其他隊球衣。

周思齊說：「真的就差一點！」
