暴雪襲美東　3千航班遭取消

美國中西部和東北部地區再遭暴風雪天氣襲擊，21日快速移動的北極冷空氣前鋒已經影響美國東部地區，氣溫驟降，紐約、波士頓、費城以及首都華盛頓降大雪，部分地區暴雪。截至當地時間21日下午，全美近3000班進出航班被迫取消，華盛頓特區的聯邦政府機構關閉，部分地區學校停課。

21日暴風雪席捲範圍從美國中西部一直蔓延至美國東北部地區，從伊利諾伊州到麻州出現大範圍降雪，預計華盛頓特區將出現2011年冬季以來最大降雪，在凜冽的寒風和大雪的夾擊下，美國中西部和東北部的氣溫驟降，21日晚中西部大部地區最低氣溫將降至-10℃以下。

氣象專家表示，兩周前，受極地漩渦侵襲，美國多地出現數十年來低溫酷寒天氣，造成十幾人死亡。此次入侵寒流沒有上次威力強大，但此次有數股冷空氣接踵襲來，低溫嚴寒天氣持續時間長，波及範圍廣，明尼蘇達州、新罕布夏州、維州、緬因州等都將出現嚴寒天氣。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
