中信兄弟投手「小雞」林恩宇希望可以拿回前兄弟象積欠的300萬元左右的薪資，對此，小雞低調地說要在春訓好好準備，其餘的事就交由委任律師處理。

林恩宇2010年返台加入兄弟象，當時象隊給小雞29萬元月薪，但小雞只出賽2場即因肩傷動手術治療，因此月薪減半，是14萬5000元，2011年小雞沒出賽，月薪又減半，月薪是10萬元，2012年只出賽1場，月薪是7萬元，去年小雞傷癒復出，戰績8勝5敗，月薪11萬元。

但，去年元月林恩宇向球員工會提出申訴，7月發函給兄弟象，希望可以追回先前積欠的300萬元，林恩宇的委託律師丁昱仁表示，300萬元是粗略估算出來的數字，依照兄弟象隊的內規，球季期間下二軍降半薪，但依照聯盟的規章規定，球季結束之後的10月至隔年3年的非球季期間，需恢復原薪。

聯盟規章第25章規定，「各球團所屬球員登錄於球季中一軍期間，其月薪不得低於七萬元台幣，非球季期間則按合約所定薪資」。
