虎頭山寒梅早放　農民憂「恐影響收成」

【黃瑞娟／花蓮報導】寒流來襲，花蓮瑞穗鄉虎頭山梅花「越冷越開花」，白色花瓣灑落在布滿青苔的岩石上，看起來詩意盎然。今天是周休假期，吸引不少遊客賞花，光復鄉民眾朱進豐一早就帶著兒女上山踏青，他笑說，白色梅樹點綴山頭，彷彿下雪一般，景色實在太美麗。
 
只是梅花美則美矣，但卻讓當地農民憂心，今年梅花比往年早開約半個月，「花期錯亂恐將影響梅子收成」。余姓農民表示，梅子收購價格低，也不列入造林樹種，農民只能選擇其他經濟價值較高的作物栽種，「以後可能看不到滿山梅花綻放了」。
