聖文森豪雨成災 至少8死

加勒比海東部島國聖文森國（St. Vincent）官員今天說，豪雨及洪水造成至少8人喪命。

緊急救難單位表示，其中1名罹難者是18歲大學生。另1名男子據報失蹤。

總理龔薩福（Ralph Gonsalves）聞訊縮短家族海外度假行程，返回崗位應變。梵蒂岡張貼的照片顯示，龔薩福會見了羅馬天主教宗方濟各。

聖文森西北部地區有一棟建築因雨倒塌，撞進另一棟民宅，造成1家5口喪命。另外許多人被迫逃離家園，有40人擠進學校尋找棲身之所，官方預料還會有更多人到校園避難。
