冰風暴襲美　溫度驟降至-3℃

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】強烈寒流本月5日起侵襲美國，明尼蘇達州杜魯斯市變成銀色世界，民眾推著鏟雪車清掃積雪。

德州低溫到達-3℃，公路封閉，學校停課，20萬戶停電，阿肯色州溫泉市才剛出現24℃暖冬高溫，突然被冰風暴襲擊，已有4人因風暴死亡，美西舊金山有人因失溫冷死。

美東華府等地也開始下大雪，氣象預報指惡劣天氣恐將延續到今明兩天，全美各地交通都受影響，有2.5萬人參加的德州達拉斯馬拉松賽也只好喊停。
