消基會對塑化劑團訟 決再提上訴

消基會幫助「塑化劑」受害者進行團體訴訟求償台幣二十五億元，但日前新北地方法院一審判決，廠商僅需賠償購買產品金額，總額大約一百二十萬元，並沒有其他懲罰性賠償，消基會對這個判決無法接受，今天（15號）召開記者會宣布，決定再次提起上訴。（閻大富報導）

二○一一年五月「塑化劑風暴」席捲台灣，不肖業者「昱伸」和「賓漢」違法添加塑化劑，販售給下游食品業者，造成消費者恐慌。

消基會祕書長雷立芬指出，塑化劑受害下游兩家業者「大漢酵素」和「統一」，向「昱伸」、「賓漢」求償，法院判定統一獲賠七千多萬，大漢酵素獲賠三千多萬，但為了維護消費者權益所提起的團體訴訟，求償金額卻從二十五億縮水到一百二十萬，消基會實在無法接受這個結果，決定再提上訴。

消基會表示，消費者買到不良產品，退回物品拿回支付的費用是天經地義，其他精神賠償居然一毛都沒有，反觀統一等廠商，卻可以拿到幾乎全額的賠償，這對消費者來說極不公平。（圖：消基會標誌）
