令狐榮達拜會美國洛杉磯市長

為加強台灣與洛杉磯市經貿、文化各項交流，中華民國駐洛杉磯辦事處處長令狐榮達偕副處長周慶龍及組長陳盈連，23日（當地時間）赴洛城市府拜會市長賈西迪（Eric Garcetti）。

令狐榮達首先感謝賈西迪撥冗接見，尤其今年8月總統馬英九過境，因台灣颱風而提前返國，賈西迪仍於深夜赴行館晉見馬總統，感謝賈西迪支持台灣。

他說，因馬總統推動兩岸和解及活路外交政策，兩岸關係大幅改善，台美關係也處於最佳時刻，且台北市與洛杉磯市又締結姊妹市，雙方當持續加強各項交流。

令狐榮達期盼，賈西迪支持台美洽簽雙邊投資協定（BIA）、自由貿易協定（FTA）、參與跨太平洋夥伴協定（TPP）及聯合國氣候變化綱要公約（UNFCCC）等國際組織等。

賈西迪歡迎令狐榮達履新，並說他在市長就職演說中已表明，洛杉磯市必須向全世界開放，尤其是美國未來所繫的西太平洋地區，現在正是洛杉磯大步西進的重要時刻，洛杉磯必須加強對台貿易、觀光及文化等各項交流。
