美軍神盾反飛彈系統測試成功

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】即便聯邦政府停擺，但五角大廈昨（4日）仍宣布神盾反飛彈系統與標準-3型反彈道飛彈測試成功的消息。美軍自2002年啟動神盾反飛彈系統測試，迄今進行34次試驗，其中28次成功、6次失敗。

五角大樓稱，當地時間4日凌晨1時33分，一枚靶彈從位於夏威夷考艾島的太平洋飛彈靶場昇空，沿西北方向飛往太平洋。隨後裝備第二代神盾反飛彈系統的伊利湖號巡洋艦以艦載雷達進行跟蹤監控，並發射標準-3型BlockIB飛彈，以直接碰撞方式摧毀目標。
