【吳秀樺／台北報導】為打造科技人才的城市願景，台積電（2330）董事長張忠謀與台南市長賴清德就「宜居•移居臺南」針對「科技人才嚮往的城市願景」，以及台南科技產業、投資環境的現況，進行一系列的討論與分享。
 
台積電董事長張忠謀指出，台積電看好在台南廠區的發展，早在1997年就在南科技資，成為進駐南科的第一家廠商。這16年來台積電不只興建新廠，公司也鼓勵員工內調南科園區，無論在南科分公司或北部分工司，福利、待遇皆是同樣優渥。加上台南活環境舒適、子女教育環境優質、房價物價合理，整個生活可說是相當均衡、健康，也的確吸引了一些員工全家移居至最宜居的台南。
 
由於南科與臺南其他工業區投資環境具有優勢，臺南還有其他為數眾多的世界級廠商陸續擴廠、設廠。在投資踴躍的情況下，臺南市對於優秀的人才、尤其中高階科技與創意人才，出現大量需求。
