歌手艾黛兒可望跨足大銀幕，飾演已逝英國歌手達絲堤史普琳菲爾的故事。該片由影集「海濱帝國」的編劇大衛史坦撰寫，劇情描述達絲堤60年代末期在田納西的曼菲斯錄製唱片時的點滴。

據知電影公司高層已和艾黛兒接觸，希望由她演出，但艾黛兒是否能參與，得視她和唱片公司的合約而定。艾黛兒的經紀人則不回應此事。
