今天是民進黨黨慶，民進黨在台中市洲際棒球場停車場，舉行民主市集活動。民進黨主席蘇貞昌、前副總統呂秀蓮致詞，前民進黨主席蔡英文下午也將出席閉幕式。

蘇貞昌上午九時三十分抵達現場，有意參加台中市長的立委林佳龍、蔡其昌，兩人都陪同蘇貞昌逛市集攤位，兩人一左一右，隨侍在側。民眾除了對蘇貞昌大喊「主席好」，對林佳龍與蔡其昌也都分別喊「市長好」。
