印度孟買再度發生大樓倒塌事件，一棟5層樓高的公寓27日凌晨突然倒塌，造成約80人受困其中。

根據路透社報導，位於孟買東郊船廠路（Dockyard Road），所有權歸於孟買市政管理機關的一棟大樓，27日凌晨6點多突然倒塌，造成約80至90人受困。

印度國家災害管理局表示，初步資訊顯示大樓內住有22戶人家，目前已經有7人獲救、1人死亡。

印度近年來樓房倒塌的事故層出不窮，主因是人口快速成長，住房需求大增，但是由於建商罔顧法規、偷工減料等因素，導致興建的大樓宛如「豆腐渣」工程，只要一到雨季來臨，房屋倒塌事件便頻繁發生。

近幾個月來，光是金融大城孟買就已發生了5起樓房倒塌事件，今年4月的倒塌事件，造成74人死亡。
