【王毓健／綜合報導】臺灣網球一姊謝淑薇和中國好搭檔彭帥，在總獎金236.9萬美元WTA泛太平洋公開賽雙打4強告捷，以6比4、6比2，直落2擊敗跨國組合布蕾珂(Cara Black，辛巴威)／米爾札(Sania Mirza，印度)，闖進決賽。
 
泛太平洋公開賽是WTA巡迴賽次高的超5(Premier 5)等級，冠軍排名積分900分、亞軍620分，謝淑薇／彭帥得到爭冠機會，代表基本上已鎖定年終總決賽參賽席次。
