【綜合報導】美國德州今日稍早再度執行1死刑，為今年第13個執行死刑案例。

今日執行死刑的犯人為37歲的迪茲(Arturo Diaz)，他在1999年強行闖入一間公司宿舍，殺害一名25歲男子尼可拉斯(Michael Nichols)，並向尼可拉斯刺下94刀致死，最後偷走50美元(約新台幣1500元)離去。

迪茲被定罪為強盜殺人，今日稍早執行毒液注射死刑，他死前向被害人父親留下遺言，指希望他的死可以為受害者家屬帶來安慰。
