阿富汗成功分割　雙頭連體女嬰

【綜合報導】˙阿富汗醫療團隊，日前成功替一名女嬰，切除掉頭上連結的另一個頭，專家表示，這是個難度很高的救命手術，目前女嬰已經逐漸康復。

巴基斯坦東部大城賈拉拉巴德(Jalalabad)一名女子，月前生產時產下一對雙胞胎女嬰，其中一名女嬰一切正常，但另一名女嬰生下時卻在後腦連著一個發育不完全的頭部，家長替她取名為古爾(Asree Gul，當地語言意為「新生的花朵」)。古爾大部分的養分，都被連在後腦的「第二個頭」給吸收，本身的發育並不好，但「第二個頭」卻也因為先天器官發育不完整，只是日漸增大，已經到了威脅古爾生存的地步。

雖然醫療團隊順利的將古爾的「第二個頭」切除，但醫生也坦言，「小古爾的狀況並不好」，能維持多久他們也不敢說，但古爾的父母已經滿心感激，「醫生們救回了我女兒的命，無論如何都謝謝他們」。
