歐盟歡迎我出席ICAO

歐盟共同外交暨安全政策高級代表艾希頓（Catherine Ashton）的發言人於23日發表聲明，歡迎台灣出席今年在加拿大舉行的「國際民航組織」（ＩＣＡＯ）大會。

聲明指出，台灣受邀與會有助增進國際飛航安全，有利ＩＣＡＯ達成建立亞洲無縫天空的目標。根據歐盟東亞政策綱領，艾希頓也鼓勵兩岸促進對話、務實合作及信心建立的相關倡議。在多邊組織中，只要對歐盟及全球的利益均具重要性者，艾希頓都支持台灣實質參與。

外交部表示，中華民國政府感謝歐盟對我有意義參與ＩＣＡＯ的支持，我將透過本次與會，加強與包括歐盟在內之相關各方的聯繫與合作，以助提升全球飛航安全。
