投市八卦山將增設3千噸淨水廠

南投市天空之橋觀光熱點所在的八卦山地區，長期自來水不足的問題可望有解，南投市代會13日決議通過讓售兩筆共1332平方公尺市有地給台灣省自來水公司，促成水公司在當地興建3000噸蓄水池及淨水廠的計畫，市長許淑華說，新建的淨水廠為永久性設備，可望徹底解決八卦山各里缺水問題，同時市庫也可增加一筆收入，稱得上是創造雙贏。
