染狂犬病者為2個多月大幼犬

【汪智博／台東報導】台東縣政府證實，鼬獾病毒跨物種犬隻首例，個案為2個多月大、未施打疫苗的混種土狗，與染病鼬獾互咬後發病死亡。
 
台東縣政府表示，8月初某晚，當老師的飼主帶幼犬回南橫山上老家。晚上10餘名親友聚會烤肉聯天，突然聽到「小黑」慘叫聲，眾人循聲音找去，發現「小黑」正與一隻鼬獾咬成一團。
 
眾人立即將鼬獾打死，混亂中「小黑」不知去向。隔天飼主通知公所清潔隊帶走死鼬獾時，「小黑」突然出現，一併被帶走隔離，卻於數天後發病死亡。
