連續獲得單周最佳球員肯定的Kevin Durant，面對老鷹再度發揮鬼神手感，在比賽最後1.5秒跳投絕殺，全場更包辦41分，帶領雷霆以111比109逆轉老鷹，笑納8連勝。

西區龍頭雷霆碰上東南組暫居第2的老鷹，KD上半場就砍下18分，不過，雷霆以50比57落後。

第3節雷帝再進帳10分，試圖將差距拉近比數，但雷霆仍以79比87進入末節，決勝階段，KD連得6分先將比數拉至3分，直到終場前他連投帶罰、包括絕殺在內連得7分，成功扭轉戰局。

雷帝25日因肩傷缺席塞爾提克的比賽，復出後就拿下32分14籃板10助攻大三元數據，近10場比賽，平均每場都可貢獻38.2分。

此役Durant繳出41分4個籃板5助攻3火鍋，連續11場比賽單場得分飆破30大關，只剩3場他就能追平聯盟紀錄保持人T-Mac所保有的連續14場飆破30分。
