南市「西佛國」寶物失竊 破案了

著名的台南市妝佛店「西佛國」失竊案，警方歷經數天的查緝，逮捕以楊姓主嫌為首的集團，警方從贓物店追回67件古文物，包括最珍貴的紫檀太師椅，全案宣告偵破，失主聞訊激動，頻向警方道謝。

台南市「西佛國」位於神農街的祖厝，19號遭人闖空門，蔡家典藏的多項寶物，經過主人詳細清點後發現，失竊物大多是元、明、清陶瓷、古物約十五個，其中紫檀太師椅可能是國內唯一，價值超過百萬元，消息傳出引起震驚。

警方專案小組現場蒐證，發現竊賊利用屋後的巷道闖空門，可能是熟門熟路的竊盜集團，應該是「內行人」，根據監視影帶及現場蒐證，鎖定作案對象，在短短幾天內破案；據了解，歹徒已經把到手的寶物全數銷往彰化，警方一一追回。

「西佛國」是一間傳承百年歷史的店家，在南部的各大廟宇中，常可以看見西佛國的神像作品，無論泥塑還是木雕的佛像，自成一格。
