日籍強投田中將大確定加盟洋基隊，據傳洋基隊以7年1億5千5百萬美元簽下這位25歲右投。

田中將大將會是日職投手挑戰大聯盟史上最高薪，換算日幣為163億，讓所有球界人士都嚇了一大跳。

不過之前洋基隊就說過這是他們最大的誠意，儘管外傳小熊隊將出價更高，但是比起錢，田中可能更想要世界大賽冠軍。

1988年出生的田中，少棒時期跟好友坂本勇人組成黃金搭擋，當時，田中將大他是捕手。

田中在樂天奮鬥了7年才幫金鷹隊奪下日本一，不過要提到田中將大被注目的時候，就要從甲子園說起。
