《美國經濟》12月預算盈餘勝預期，創史上同期新高

美國財政部13日公佈2013年12月份(2014財政年度第3個月)財務預算報告，結算盈餘達532.2億美元，遠高於去前同期11.91億美元的赤字，且是史上同期新高。據彭博社調查，經濟學家預估預算盈餘為440億美元。

報告顯示，美國聯邦政府當期稅收年增5%至2,832.21億美元，支出年減15%至2,300.01億美元。累計2014財政年度前三個月，預算赤字下降至1,736億美元，較去年同期的2,933億美元減少41%。

據彭博社報導，除了經濟轉好導致稅收增加外，房利美(Fannie Mae)、房地美(Freddie Mac)當月為國庫貢獻了約340億美元是盈餘改善最大主因。

儘管赤字成長速度獲得控制，但美國舉債上限危機仍未解除，財政部長Jacob Lew之前曾警告舉債額度將在2月7日用罄，希望國會立即協商解決。
