南投消防員救貓摔成重傷 各界祝他早日康復

南投縣消防隊員劉永華，為救一隻受困小貓，不慎踏破採光罩從高樓摔成重傷，引起各界關切，並質疑抓貓、抓蛇等勤務，並非消防人員本業，政府應成立專責機構；消防局則表示，為民服務的相關勤務難推辭，往後將強化安全維護。

任職在南投消防局埔里分隊的績優消防隊員劉永華，二十八號據報為了幫民眾搶救一隻受困小貓，因一時不慎踏破了位在三樓高的採光罩，重摔成重傷，經緊急送醫急救後，因脾臟破裂、左手骨折，前額又有撕裂傷，在病情穩定後，漏夜轉送台中市中國醫藥大學附設醫院住進加護病房，令同仁們相當不捨，也只能堅守崗位、幫他加油打氣。

優秀消防隊員為了救貓摔成重傷，引起各界關切，並質疑抓貓、抓蛇與補虎頭蜂等危險勤務，並非消防人員本業，政府應成立專責機構；縣府消防局則表示，為民服務相關勤務難推辭，往後將強化安全維護，以避免類似意外事件發生。

埔里消防分隊表示，劉永華擔任消防員已有二十年資歷，參與眾多山難，以及颱風、土石流等天然災變的救援勤務，平時相當負責、表現優異，還榮獲年度消防楷模，不少隊友分批前往探視，各界也祝福這位救難英雄能早日康復。
