監獄太擠　希臘越獄無罪

【簡竹君╱綜合外電報導】想像30人擠在4.3坪小房間的畫面，這是希臘監獄和警察拘留所的普遍狀況，歐洲議會一項報告指希臘監獄擁擠程度是全歐盟最糟，且受刑人待遇極差，甚至沒水洗澡，皮膚病相互傳染。希臘一間法院甚至認定拘留所的情況「悲慘至極且對人類極端危險」，先前更判定15名越獄者無罪。

美聯社28日報導，希臘在經濟危機下削減監獄預算、裁撤人員，獄卒常遭致命攻擊。許多牢房塞進了原可容納的2到3倍人數，同一牢房中有遭定罪者和候審嫌犯，少年犯、商業犯、毒販也同關一監。

30名成人擠在無人打掃的4.3坪小牢房，共用一廁；他們無水洗澡，虱子、跳蚤、各種癬疹交互傳染。由於床位不足，想躺上床得排隊輪流。警察拘留所同樣人滿為患。
