平安夜不平安　男超車撞斷消防栓送醫

【劉榮輝／台南報導】台南1名蔡姓男子昨深夜開車返家途中，在中西區華平路與和緯路口，疑過彎時超車不慎，車子失控衝向路邊，先撞斷1支消防栓和1棵行道樹後，整輛車子翻覆在人行道上，蔡男被民眾從車內拉出脫困，僅身體疼痛，沒有明顯外傷，經救護車送醫救治，沒有生命危險，肇事原因警方調查中。
 
由於撞斷消防栓，自來水不斷湧出，消防局人員到場後，受限工具無法關閉水閥，再請求支援器材，才將水閥關閉。至於被撞倒行道樹，警方和民眾合力將它搬移到路邊，以免影響行車安全。
