【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】今日是美國已故總統甘迺迪逝世50周年紀念日，大批群眾前往達拉斯迪利廣場，在當地時間下午12時30分，亦即甘迺迪遇刺的時間進行默哀悼念。

美國全國在周五都有儀式悼念這名已故總統，各處均降半旗致哀，而美國總統歐巴馬也發明聲明說：「今日我們向甘迺迪致敬，他對於美國歷史有重要的影響。」達拉斯天主教區主教法雷爾則說：「主讓我們捱過一次恐怖的悲劇，一名男子的槍擊奪去我們的總統，一個令美國出現希望及夢想的總統。」
