陳漢典出道７年，憑著毅力與傻勁在中天《康熙來了》、三立《綜藝大熱門》，與小Ｓ、蔡康永、吳宗憲等大牌主持人搭檔，逐漸受到矚目，也讓他從剛出道時的活動主持費5000元漲到30萬起跳，漲了60倍。

他日前到大陸演講，與大學生分享心得，表示自己的星途並非外界以為的順遂，曾３個月沒通告，廠商以他沒名氣婉拒他擔任活動主持，只好接受低廉費用，只為累積經驗，「當初很多人說漢典不行，還當面說我就是靠低價搶活動，我都不反駁。」

他個性有些傻氣，「說實的，就算當面挖苦我，我可能也聽不懂」，他的傻氣反映在興趣上，這一年半他熱愛騎單車，挑戰全台大小賽事，日前挑戰南投武嶺全程 105公里的爬坡山路，去年騎80公里，今年騎90公里，雖都沒完賽，「但騎車很符合我的個性，傻傻踩就會前進，我一定會完賽。」
