原因是因為連外頻寬。台灣是海島國家，幾乎很多事情都必須要連到國外才能做。

Youtube也是一例。  Google在台灣有設點，但是因為某些"金錢"上的問題，中華電信不給Google直接連線的權力。

所以，我們中華電信的客戶，必須要先連到美國，在連回台灣才可以看到Youtube的影片。

連外速度牽扯到當時的流量，所以在尖峰時間，不管用多快的網路速度都是一樣慢。

解決辦法就是去申辦某些比較特別的網路架構。例如:IPV6。

台灣因為IPV6使用者少，所以被分到連外的頻寬比較大，在讀取的時候可以近乎全速衝刺。
