南投縣草屯旭光高中兩名學生，為替參加國姓搶成功的同學加油，2人共乘機車前往國姓途中，疑因車速太快，撞及國姓橋附近的路邊反光板，人車掉落水溝內，造成1死1重傷慘劇，家長十分哀慟，校方則感難過與遺憾，表示將會再加強學生交通安全宣導。
