男童天生無左耳　成功植入新耳

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】英國一名10歲男童天生沒有左耳，平時受盡同學欺凌，經常躲起來不敢見人，日前醫生成功利用肋骨為他重塑新耳，希望能讓他重拾自信。

海茲(Alfie Hazell)患有先天性高登哈氏症候群(Goldenhar Syndrome)，左耳發育不健全，由於沒有耳道，左耳等同失聰，加上左耳的外觀異於常人，海茲為此受盡同學欺凌，5歲時甚至有女孩當面說他的模樣讓她很不安，使他身心大受打擊。

海茲經父母鼓勵下，去年首次接受植耳手術，醫生先抽取他的肋骨軟骨組織締造新耳，然後在缺憾的位置植入，之後再在今年3月接受植皮手術，讓假耳看來更逼真。海茲非常滿意手術結果，更常常用手機拍下照片，與家人及朋友分享。

雖然假耳不能讓海茲聽見聲音，但他長大後可裝上永久助聽器，還是能讓他的左耳恢復一些聽覺。
