文昌魚是什麼種類的魚?

文昌魚（學名：Branchiostoma lanceolatum），
不同於香港稱之為白飯魚的一種魚。
香港白飯魚實是Leucosoma Chinensis科的白肌銀魚,
及Salanx Ariakensis科的有明銀魚, 屬脊椎動物的魚類。

文昌魚不屬於魚類，而屬於頭索動物亞門鰓口科。

是生物演化研究中的一個重要物種，它揭示了現存脊椎動物的起源。
