潑糞雙煞逃逸後，恐嚇案成羅生門。蕭敬騰（老蕭）29日宣稱「我用人格保證，經紀約、工作絕對沒問題」，大動作開記者會。他也說：「我沒有在怕。」不怕仇家再度尋仇。雖然他身邊人認為是他的粉絲蔭山友紀（Yuki）唆使，但也可能與美國演唱會、相關經紀約有關。

老蕭原訂去年５月到美國舉行「2012蕭敬騰＆GEM美國巡迴演唱會」，但主辦單位「夢媒體製作」未依合約，在開唱前分３次預付酬勞749萬元，因此演唱會臨時喊卡。台北地院判主辦單位賠償862萬餘元。但該公司後來倒閉，負責人也失聯，有人懷疑潑糞案與此有關。

另外，老蕭經紀約外傳有問題，未談妥才被人潑糞。他的經紀人Summer昨說：「老蕭很愛喜鵲經紀公司，哪有經紀糾紛？」也說沒和其他公司談過唱片合約，因此潑糞事件絕對與爭搶經紀約無關。
