將用於 GALAXY S 5，Samsung 64 位元處理器已接近完成階段

Samsung 新一代的 64 位元智慧型手機處理器開發，已經接近完成階段。

日前曾有韓國媒體指出，Samsung 正在著手開發 64 位元處理器，並將用於 GALAXY S 5，而最新的消息顯示，這顆晶片的開發已經接近完成階段。

消息指出，這顆晶片開發的最困難部份已經解決，現在正在著手處理技術性與物流問題，如果沒有意外的話，在不久的將來就能正式量產。

相較與 32 位元，64 位元處理器除了擁有更多的 RAM 定址外，同時在多工處理以及整體表現都有著不錯的進步，這前提是目前的作業系統需要完全的支援它。

基於 ARM Cortex-A50 ，Samsung Exynos 64 位元處理器將會延續 4+4 核心的 big.Little 架構，在主要核心方面將會是 ARM Cortex-A57 搭配 ARM Mali T67x，至於另外四顆核心則是 ARM Cortex-A53，並可能為 14nm 製程。
