行進間莒光號驚傳司機墜車

台鐵一列從七堵往鳳山方向行駛的莒光號列車，今下午2點多行駛接近嘉義水上站時，余姓司機員突然摔出火車外，嘉義縣消防隊獲報趕到時，司機員頭部破裂、已無生命跡象，送醫急救中。列車延誤約1小時，由其他駕駛員接手繼續行駛。

目擊者指出，司機員疑似正在指導助理員如何開火車，但列車門沒有關，52歲的余姓司機員突然從火車上摔下，掉落鐵軌外2公尺草叢。列車助理員緊急將列車停下，車上乘客沒有大礙，列車延誤約1小時後繼續往南行駛。
