婦氣管遭噎　醫師當場拿摺刀開刀

【綜合報導】美國加州一名71歲婦人勞伍德(Paulin Larwood)周一出席晚宴時，不慎被食物噎住喉部，幸好當時有許多醫學界菁英在場，直接在餐廳為她進行手術，救回一命。

勞伍德在餐廳發生噎喉後，她的丈夫趕緊過來為她進行「哈姆立克急救法」，但婦人情況並未好轉，口唇和手指變藍。這時在一名醫學教授強森(Royce Johnson)認為，必須緊急開刀才能挽救勞伍德性命，於是當場向友人借來一把隨身用的摺刀，當場為勞伍德進行手術。

此外，在場另一名醫生將一枝原子筆拗成兩截，給強森用作通氣管，強森一邊經通氣管吹氣入勞伍德氣管，美國國家疾病控制中心主任弗里登(Thomas Frieden)為她把脈。不久，勞伍德恢復知覺，並能夠說話，隨即送醫。勞伍德的兒子說她目前情況良好，很快就可出院。
