低頭族看簡訊釀禍撞死人　賠償獲緩刑

【許淑惠／台中報導】中市黃姓送貨司機今年4月駕駛小貨車行經臺74號道路，因低頭查看身旁的手機簡訊，未注意前方有部故障臨停的小貨車，車上蕭姓駕駛正下車要擺放警示標誌，黃男沒有減速煞車撞上小貨車，蕭男跳開沒事，但是坐在副駕駛車上的蕭母卻傷重死亡。
 
黃男坦承因低頭查看簡訊而肇事，感到懊惱悔恨不己，已賠償家屬達成和解，台中地院依業務過失致人於死罪，判黃男有期徒刑10月，緩刑2年。
