【綜合報導】知名律師顧立雄早上召開記者會，宣布願意代表民進黨角逐台北市長選舉。

顧立雄在記者會上表示，民進黨主席蘇貞昌希望他能夠考慮代表民進黨參選台北市長，並分析台北市有利參選人的狀況，認為他是適合的人選，顧立雄也向蘇表示自己的顧慮，因為他沒有任何經驗，第一次選就要選這麼大型的選舉，是一個非常的生手，是不是有能力承擔這個責任，但蘇仍然非常鼓勵，而與前主席蔡英文一起討論案情時，也有問他是否有意願，讓他感到受寵若驚。

而面對柯文哲將可能成為競爭對手，顧立雄表示他還沒準備好面對這個問題，並回應如果民進黨徵召他，他就會成為民進黨參選台北市長。
