【大紀元2013年09月20日訊】（大紀元記者陳光澳洲悉尼編譯報導）悉尼警方提醒駕車者，由於這個週日將舉行「悉尼跑步節」（Sydney Running Festival），市中心（CBD）的交通可能會有重大延誤。

據澳新社報導， 週日的「悉尼跑步節」將從早上6點15分（澳洲東部時間）開始，預計將有超過3.2萬人參加跑步節的4個項目。

屆時市中心的許多道路將從凌晨4點關閉，直到下午1點半。 受到影響的包括麥覺理街（Macquarie St）、牛津街（Oxford St）、澳紐軍團大道（Anzac Parade）、加寧街（Cleveland St）、弗林德斯街（Flinders St）和摩爾公園路（Moore Park Rd）。

悉尼海港大橋和其連接道路將被關閉至上午11點。

警方表示，他們將會努力減少活動對社區的影響。「我們強烈呼籲駕車人士和居民提前計劃行程，最好使用公共交通工具，並做好延誤的準備。 」警司西卡德（Allan Sicard）說。
